Dr Meher Mistry has written a comprehensive review for Dinyar Patel’s book on the Grand Old Man of India, Dadabhai Naoroji ("Dadabhai’s dossier,” Books, Parsiana, June 21, 2017). Every Parsi publication had carried articles on him to commemorate his death centenary on June 30, 2017. Only one however mentioned that his original surname was Dordi. Imagine the iconic Dr Dadabhai Naoroji Road in Bombay would then have been known as Dr Dadabhai Dordi Road!

In "Dadabhai’s dossier” (Books, Parsiana, June 21, 2017) Dr Meher Mistry mentions about R. P. Masani’s biography of Dadabhai Naoroji.
On browsing the internet, I found the book (591 pages) on the Internet Archive Library (https://archive.org/details/GrandOldManOfIndia) from where it can be freely downloaded and read.
