Looking after elderly relatives can be a boon

The first eight months of my life were spent in New York, in 1993 after which my parents Naozad and Bhavna Tata handed me over to my grandparents, Jal and Nargis Tata, who then raised me in Bombay. I stayed in Tata Blocks, in Bandra, for 12 years where my Bappi (grandmother) and Papa (grandfather) raised me in typical Parsi style: agiary, dhansak, torans; good thoughts, good words and good deeds. My grandfather had then retired from Air India, and my grandmother was an artist. At age 12, my parents decided to move my sister and me back to the United States,......
