By withdrawing his nomination of Dinshaw Tamboly to the National Commission for Minorities (NCM), Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) chairman Yazdi Desai has unintentionally insulted a stalwart, a most dedicated social worker and a true well-wisher of the community (see "A minority decision,” pg 27 ). Unlike others, Tamboly is not after power or position, he does not abuse or insult anyone, he does not blow his own trumpet.
