A Dae mah jashan was held at the Cowasji Patell Agiary in Thana on June 3, 2017, informs Zarsis Udhnawala, president of the Thana Parsi Zoroastrian Anjuman (TPZA). After a welcome address by joint secretary Rumi Kasad and a humbandagi led by Behramshah Sidhwa, Prof (Dr) Firdaus Shroff delivered a talk on "Manomanthan to Manorajan (Introspection to entertainment)” when he exhorted the audience, "If we expect to see a change in others, we have to change ourselves... Give more, expect less.” The newest life member of TPZA, Gulnaz Engineer presented a memento to the guest speaker while Thana resident Dr Katy Gandevia felicitated Shroff. After Kasad’s vote of thanks, the assembly partook of dinner arranged by Yasmin Wadia and trustee Marazban Bam.
