We are going ahead

"The FPZAI (The Federation of the Parsi Zoroastrian Anjumans of India) by intervening in this Court case, cannot be termed as interfering in the autonomous working of an anjuman. What is happening in Calcutta is that the Court is being approached to change the definition of ‘Parsi Zoroastrian' as has been established and followed in India,” stated FPZAI president and Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) chairman Yazdi Desai in an email dated July 25, 2017 to Russi Jeejeebhoy, the Calcutta Zoroastrian Community's Religious and Charity Fund (CZCRCF) representative on the all India body.

"We are not waiting for you to call FPZAI for help. As approved by the executive council, FPZAI will intervene strongly in this case to safeguard the interests of the Parsi Zoroastrians and anjumans of India,” added Desai.
