Karanjia explained that the Zoroastrian religion supports the creation of wealth and hence trade and commerce are seen in a positive light. In fact, the ethical creation of wealth helps to promote goodness and fight the evils of ignorance, hunger, disease and death. Citing from Avesta and Pahlavi texts, he showed how the Zoroastrian religion encourages ethically created wealth unlike in others where poverty is glorified and wealth is seen as an impediment to spiritual progress. Karanjia also explained the significance of the Jamshedi Navroz festival and how one can put into effect some of these lessons in the field of business, commerce and wealth creation. He lauded the work done by the WZCC in the past 25 years by encouraging young entrepreneurs.
Briefing the gathering about the achievements of the Mumbai Chapter in the last three months, Patel said that membership has increased since the new committee had taken charge. "Our mission and vision is to bring our community closer by fostering collaboration and inspiring youth engagement, budding entrepreneurs and encouraging women empowerment,” he stated.
The WZCC global president, Capt Percy Master spoke about the global achievements of the WZCC and future plans and policies. He urged all members of the WZCC to support the silver jubilee celebrations of WZCC India Region.
