I have read your editorial "The silent seven” (Parsiana, April 21-May 6, 2025). Is there no way the present trustees of Bombay Parsi Punchayet can be ousted and a new team of eminent people of integrity appointed?
Speaking for myself, ideally they should be Zoroastrians, but I see no problem with non-Zoroastrians also being inducted on the board. NESS PESIKAKA

According to the Bombay Parsi Punchayet election scheme not only should trustees be Parsi Zoroastrians but even those who propose or second their candidature are required to be Parsi Zoroastrians.
