A jashan open to all will be held on September 1, 2021 at 11 a.m. to mark the sixth anniversary of the Prayer Hall in Worli. In an email to Parsiana, chairman of The Prayer Hall Trust, Dinshaw Tamboly, stated that coordinator Ervad Framroze Mirza will perform the jashan to commemorate the event.

Since its inception on September 1, 2015, the facility has proven a boon for those opting for cremation. A total of 593 funerals were held: 33 between September and December 2015, 97 in 2016, 77 in 2017, 73 in 2018, 90 in 2019, 116 in 2020, and 107 between January and July 2021. The high numbers for the past two years are due to Covid fatalities, as municipal rules do not permit the traditional mode of disposal for such corpses.
