Saazish — ekk plan, due for release in May 2006, "is definitely coming up with a new hero for Bollywood,” announced the writer-director of the movie Shyam Shah impressed with Dellzan Wadia’s histrionic talent. "The young, dashing, enthusiastic guy from my own city Vadodara…works hard to keep himself in shape and works even harder on set to deliver the best. He is very spontaneous, natural and like elastic clay. You can mold him the way you want. Even after a tiresome day of shooting a fight sequence you can ask him to perform a romantic scene at 2 a.m. He will do it with full conviction,” Shah told Keki Doodhwala of Surat in a telephonic interview. This suspense thriller has provided a platform to all newcomers, notes the write up.
After seeing his performance in this movie Dellzan has been signed for two more movies Jasbat ekk ahisas and Madhoshia, adds Doodhwala. Actually Dellzan has been trying to get a foothold in Bollywood since the1990s. Unfortunately his first movie Saacha sukh did not see the light of day and the second Sanam Teray Pyar Mein fared badly at the box office, Doodhwala mentions in his life profile of the aspiring actor. He next enrolled in the London Film TV Radio Academy where he learnt the ropes of editing and direction.

Dellzan was then offered roles in a couple of music albums – Chingari and Hanuman Chalisa which gave him good exposure. His fascination for films had been fanned from the time when as a 16-year-old student of Raheja College he was a part-time singer in a band where he was nicknamed "Chhota Govinda.” To earn some extra money he even tried his hand at running a fast-food joint at Dadar’s King Circle. Surmounting frustrations and rejections he has continued to strive, living up to the Gujarati maxim — "Dheeraj na phal meetha (patience bears sweet rewards),” writes Doodhwala.
