The world body of Zoroastrians aims to form a united front of Parsi/Irani Zarathushtis to stop intrusions and trespass of aliens in our premises. The organizers of the world body should give a firm assurance of good intentions (manashni) and declare as under:
That they will not disturb the present structure of Parsi/Irani Zarathushtis under any circumstances.
That they will announce a Common Minimum Program in public and submit the constitution for approval of the Indian Federation.
That they will consult the dasturs in all religious matters and act accordingly to preserve our religious tenets.
That they will have Bombay as their main center.
That they will make amendments, if necessary, in future, after wise consultation with the scholars of anjumans and comply with reforms if they are in the interest of our community.
That they are confident of achieving unity among the Parsi/Irani Zarathushtis of the West and the East with their different cultures.
The world body of the Theosophical Society in spite of sincere efforts, failed to have a universal brotherhood. The United Nations also fails to control the USA in spite of adverse views of many other member nations.
If the above mentioned assurances are not confirmed by the world body and if they are not practical, it would be better to have a separate ‘Zoroastrian Reformists Body,’ of the western so-called Zarathushtis to avoid constant conflicts. Such a body can act according to its own constitution having no concern with the Parsi culture and tenets.
Lastly one would like to inquire, what will be the advantage to the common Parsi/Irani Zarathushtis by the formation of a new world body over and above the World Zoroastrian Organisation? Most of the Parsi/Irani Zarathushtis see disadvantages and threats to their tenets from the aliens’ entry into the minuscule community with their different culture.
May Ahura Mazda grant good sense to all to preserve our great religion and our prestigious racial heritage!
