An aerial attack

During World War II news of aerial bombing attacks was common. I too experienced a sort of aerial attack which is narrated here. Between the kitchen and the dining room in the main building of the Damanwala Dispensary (pictured) in Udvada there was a vacant open space of about 10 meters. I was carrying an uncovered plate of barbecued liver from the kitchen to the dining room. A kite hovering above suddenly swooped down and carried off some pieces of barbecued liver in its claws from the plate, fortunately without its beak, wings or talons touching or injuring me!         Dr VISPY M.
