I agree, entirely with Homi Dalal ("Question of identity,” Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, June 7, 2017) that as a 100% educated (but not fully liberated from bigotry) community, "we should pray” that Goolrookh Gupta wins, hands down, in the Supreme Court.
The 1908 Davar-Beaman judgment is the culprit behind molding our minds in a misogynist fashion, against women who marry out.
