Tributes were paid to veteran solicitor Burjor Antia
on his 85th birthday
An honorary doctorate in literature from the Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University in Udaipur was awarded to veteran solicitor Burjor Antia during his 85th birthday celebration held at the Trident on this February 23.
Tributes were paid to the octogenarian lawyer by a galaxy of speakers. Former Supreme Court Justice Sam Variava, chief guest at the investiture ceremony referred to Antia as being "very meticulous and hardworking,” while H. C. Parekh, vice chancellor of the University termed him "an outstanding legal luminary… I have yet to come across a more humble person than him.”
