MISTRY” read the lettering in red against the white bead background of the name plate. Above the unpretentious portal hung a beads toran (door decor) that appeared to be an assemblage of several scenes: a house and tree with birds, children seated at a bench, a woman taking shelter under her umbrella, a palanquin being carried by two bearers.
