Happy rained in seniors

Undeterred by the heavy rains in the week commencing September 20, 2021, the residents and administrative staff of the WZO (World Zoroastrian Organisation) Trust Funds Senior Citizens Centre in Navsari (pictured) found innovative ways to spend time. "Our jolly band of residents got together with the administration team to enjoy rounds of playing housie, finishing off the evening fun with freshly made gulab jamuns (Indian sweets),” noted chairman Dinshaw Tamboly. On yet another such wet day, the seniors decided to substitute their regular lunch with freshly made masala dosas. "The administrative team quickly arranged for the feast which left our residents happy, satiated and satisfied,” appreciated Tamboly. "Our residents know that we can only be happy as much as we make up our minds to be. (They) are happy not because everything is good, but because they adapt to all situations and see the good side of everything,” he stated.  ...
