I would like to comment on some of the articles which have appeared in Parsiana.
Zerbanoo Gifford is so inspiring ("Zerbanoo at the zenith,” Zoroastrians Abroad, Parsiana, April 21-May 6, 2023)! In the same issue, I read "Madhiwala’s hard knocks” in Readers’ Forum, which reminded me that he had visited Karachi twice (I think) and community members had rushed to him in large numbers to be treated. My reaction to the item in Events and Personalities, "Succor for seniors” on the initiative by the World Alliance of Parsi Irani Zarthoshtis (pictured) to care for the elderly is, "Ahura bless them for the good work that they do!”
Also, thank you for the detailed and well-written eulogy on our beloved Byram Avari ("Accessible and affable,” In Memoriam, Parsiana, March 21-April 6, 2023).
