Life Members of the Zoroastrian Trust Funds of Europe (ZTFE), Eric and Arnawaz Amaria who are also affiliated with the Lions movement considered it an "honor and privilege” to attend the King’s garden party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh on July 1, 2025, noted an email from ZTFE president Malcolm Deboo.

Describing the event as "a day to remember,” the duo, dressed in gara and suit, saw the gates to the Palace grounds open to the invitees at 3 p.m. and tea served half an hour later. At 4 p.m. King Charles II, accompanied by Queen Camilla and Princess Anne came down the steps of the Palace that serves as the official residence of the monarchy in Scotland. After the national anthem was played, members of the Royal family circulated among the guests for nearly an hour while two bands continued to play music to regale those present.
Guests at the garden party represent all walks of life and include those who have made a positive impact in their community, according to the website of the Royal Collection Trust. Recommendations come from national organizations that submit lists based on a pre-arranged quota. Ultimately the Lanarkshire Lieutenancy appointed by the King to organize and escort all official royal engagements nominates the people who would attend the party each year.
