New behdins

After the group initiation at Tashkent in Uzbekistan on September 24, 2025, Mobed Kurosh Aryana was requested to perform some more navjotes on October 1 under the auspices of the 21-year-old Bozorg Bazgasht Organization that is part of the Zarathushtrian Association of Norway. Officiating at the initiation ceremony with the assistance of Rustam Kamelov, Aryana ended with the recitation of the Tandorosti prayer, he conveyed to Parsiana.   Mobed Kurosh Aryana (far l) with new initiates in Uzbekistan Describing the initiates as "new behdins from different ethnic backgrounds,” Aryana told Parsiana that living in Central Asia, some of them are Tajiks, others Uzbeks or Russians. Most of them speak Russian. Born into the Christian or Muslim faiths, these adults had "studied about Zoroastrianism from different sources and books,” said Aryana.
