I was delighted to receive the September 21-October 6, 2020 issue of Parsiana, until I saw the Editorial Viewpoint page. On reading "The failure of the Federation,” I got to wondering how a gentle, genteel, generous and kind people like the Parsis could be saddled with such an intellectually and indeed morally noisome body as The Federation of the Parsi Zoroastrian Anjumans of India (FPZAI). As a lifelong admirer of the community, I know you deserve better.
To misquote an embattled medieval English sovereign, can no one rid one of this troublesome cabal? You are far too self-sufficient and resourceful to suffer them. STANLEY PINTO
