I would like to thank Parsiana for its annual gift of the calendar and diary. The calendar (as part of the November 7 issue) comes in time to write down engagements for the coming year. The diary comes a little later. I have come to recognize it by its colorful cover. I always keep it in my handbag, ready to write down engagements or check on those I have committed myself to.
Let me relate an incident in this connection. Some time back we had assembled for lunch at a club. The lady sitting next to me was a stranger and I was waiting for a suitable opportunity to start a conversation. I saw her open her purse and take out the Parsiana diary. It gave me the opportunity I was looking for. We talked about Parsiana and thereafter about several other things. It was an enjoyable afternoon thanks to Parsiana.
