The Indian Cancer Society (ICS) will complete 75 years of service in 2026. To mark this milestone, we are bringing out an illustrated history of the ICS to bring alive the journey of the organization for stakeholders in the health sector, cancer care and the wider community.
We wish to honor the vision and leadership of two distinguished founders, Naval Tata, who guided ICS for 38 years until his passing in 1989, and Dr D. J. Jussawalla, who led ICS for 48 years until he passed away in 1999. Both stalwarts dedicated their lives to building ICS and set a shining example of service to society. We are keen to reach out to readers to help us document their remarkable legacy.
We request readers to share with us photographs, documents or letters relating to Tata and Jussawalla along with personal recollections, anecdotes, or tributes that highlight their lives, values and contributions. For this we will be deeply grateful.
