Should not, in the interest of equity and justice, Anahita Desai be the chairperson of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) since she has obtained the largest tally of votes?
The present chairwoman, Armaity Tirandaz, polled the least number of votes among the seven trustees elected on May 29, 2022. How can she continue as chairperson?

Clause 15.1 of the BPP election scheme specifically states, "The trustees will designate the trustee who has served as a trustee (whether with or without any hiatus) (senior most) as the chairman.”
