At the India Voice Fest 2019 voice artiste and lifestyle and feature writer Benaifer Mirza (pictured) won the Corporate Audio Visual — English — Female award for lending her voice to a corporate audiovisual on the theme of women’s empowerment for the Reliance Foundation. There were 11 entries for the category in which she won, she told Parsiana on December 16, 2019. This was the second edition of the awards function. Presented on December 1, by Sugar Mediaz, the awards were given in 37 categories, she stated. The jury comprised 17 professionals from the media and entertainment industry, she told us. "I have been (recording for) audio books, such as J. Krishnamurti by Pupul Jayakar,  books by Shobhaa De and classics such as The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry and short stories by Virginia Woolf,” Mirza explained. The artiste recently recorded television and digital advertisements for jewelry brand Tanishq, and corporate audiovisuals for brands such as CitiBank, MasterCard, Complan and Maybelline. The Andheri based, seven-year-old Sugar Mediaz Private Limited website states that the company is in the business of producing radio commercials, radio marketing campaigns, jingles and content for interactive voice recordings in 28 languages and conducts workshops.  ...
