The Bardoli Jarthosti Anjuman (BJA) unanimously elected seven trustees at its meeting on October 27, 2012. The board, which will officiate for a three-year term, comprises president Homi Pirojsha Pithawala, vice president Daulat Sorabji Mohta, honorary secretary Pervez Bomansha Mehta along with trustees Maharukh Aspi Sanjana, Kersi Minocher Sanjana, Gustasp Byramji Pastakia and Godrej Pesi Batliwala, mentions an email received by Parsiana from Mehta.
Most of the trustees have been on the BJA board for many years, with the president and vice president along with trustee Maharukh Sanjana having been first elected in 1993 and reelected every three years thereafter, mentions Mehta. Pithawala became president in 2006 while Mohta has been vice president since 1993. Mehta himself, first elected in 1987, has completed 25 years of service, during 22 of which he has been the honorary secretary. Kersi Sanjana came on the board in 2002 while Pastakia and Batliwala were inducted in 2007, the email mentions.
