A new, permanent exhibition paying tribute to the life and legacy of Jamshed Bhabha was to be inaugurated on May 16, in the foyer of the Jamshed Bhabha Theatre located in the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) complex at Nariman Point, according to the MumbaiMirror (MM) of May 6, 2018.

As per the Daily, in his will, art patron Bhabha had indicated that the campus of the NCPA should include a permanent exhibition space that would tell the institute’s story. As stated in MM, "Many of Bhabha’s valuables, like his silver artifacts, antiquities and paintings, as well as his Malabar Hill bungalow Mehrangir, were auctioned between 2011-2014, and the proceeds — as mentioned in his will — have gone towards the upkeep of the NCPA, which opened to the public in 1986. ‘We also gave a lot to the Tata Central Archives and had only leftovers,’ says NCPA chairman Khushroo Suntook. ‘But even those were quite magnificent. The idea was to impress upon people that this sort of an institution must be supported. NCPA is a wonderful example of legacy giving.’”
The exhibition space is designed by Asavari Honavar of Studio Ananya.
