WZO(I)’s Gujarat trip

During a five-day bus outing to Gujarat by the World Zoroastrian Organisation (WZO) (India) from January 13 to 17, 2025, the group made a pilgrimage to Ajmalgadh, where the holy Iranshah was lodged high on a hill at 1,200 ft above sea level in a cave in the Vansda forest for nearly 14 years (1405-1428), mentions a report sent to Parsiana by WZO president Kersi Limathwalla.
Thanks to the efforts of the Vansda Parsi Zarthushti Anjuman, the steep hill is now accessible by a motorable road. A jashan was performed at the site by Ervad Darayesh Katrak. A stumbh on the Ajmalgadh hill, constructed by WZO(I) vice president Nozer Meherji, is maintained by the WZO Trust, notes the write-up.
