Mediation continuing

The mediation talks between the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) and Jamsheed Kanga and Homi Khusrokhan in the renegade priests ban case have been extended by another two months. The matter came up before Justices M. Katju and G. S. Misra of the Supreme Court on July 19, 2011 who ordered "mediation may continue at the discretion of the learned mediator Sriram Panchu.” The BPP advocate Percy Ghandy, and U. A. Rana assisted by M. Majumdar of Gagrat and Company representing Kanga and Khusrokhan, informed the court that mediation proceedings and hearings have taken place. Ghandy requested that the next date be fixed for mid-September. The justices adjourned the matter and all interim orders passed earlier would continue....
