It was very heartening to read the article by Firdaus Gandevia on my alma mater, Girton High School ("The girls of Girton,” Parsiana, August 7, 2018). It took me down memory lane and stirred up a lot of emotions as I remembered my wonderful principal Silla Ardeshir (pictured) and a string of devoted teachers who taught us not only our three ‘R’s but how to grow up into good human beings.
"Courage, simplicity and honor” we uphold as proud Girtonians.
