Though the proposed project with the Gurgaon based Medanta Group has been unofficially scuttled, the Hong Kong based donors Pervin and Jal Shroff have pledged to "continue to support The B. D. Petit Parsee General Hospital (PGH) in any way deemed prudent and financially sound to ensure the PGH’s future survival and well-being,” stated the couple in a communication to Parsiana on April 6, 2019.
