The Lions Club of Byculla has assisted The B. D. Petit Parsee General Hospital (PGH) with "over 20 oxygen concentrators, 10 large oxygen cylinders, BiPAP machines (to treat chronic breathing conditions)” and protective kits, noted Club president Feroze Katrak. Appreciative of the upgradation projects undertaken and the Hospital ramping up facilities to deal with the second wave, the Club felicitated the Hospital’s chief executive officer Lt Gen (Dr) M Ganguly (retd) for his services to the community, noted Katrak.

"We worked from the onset of the pandemic, distributing face masks and PPE (personal protective equipment) kits to the police, frontline and hospital workers, helping the migrant laborers with hot food during their exodus, arranging food for our four legged friends, financial assistance to the needy and deserving,” he told Parsiana. "Our Club has provided much needed equipment to various hospitals like Nair and King Edward Memorial,” he mentioned.
