A short, 2.41-minute video on Geo News covered Parsis visiting the Seth Dossabhoy Merwanji Wadia Dar-e-Meher on the occasion of Jamshedi Navroz and included an image of a devotee praying before a fire burning in an afarganiu.

This feature on a Pakistani pay television news channel owned by the Jang Media Group apparently resulted in Avari "receiving calls and messages from as far away as the USA and Canada, inquiring how and why the reporter of Geo was allowed to go with his cameraman into the agiary.”
The clarification issued by Avari specified, "I had given approval for the TV shoot to be done in the house of the panthaky, Ervad Farzin Yazeshani, and when I saw this clip, I also spoke to Farzin who confirmed to me that he would never allow the agiary to be desecrated by allowing a non-Parsi to enter the agiary and take pictures. As the reporter wanted some shots of the insides of an agiary, Farzin used his own camera and took the shots and transferred them on the camera of Ali Imam, the producer of the video.”
The video showed a few senior devotees entering the agiary and briefly relating why they visit the temple and pray before the fire on joyous occasions. The significance of the sun and light to Zoroastrians, and the symbolism of the Navroz table was explained in English and Urdu.
