In my letter "What did he teach us?” (Readers’ Forum, Parsiana, January 21-February 6, 2020), there is a difference between what I intended to convey and what has finally been printed regarding my advice to children who have just been inducted into the faith.
I wished to convey that if we are in trouble and pray for help, the response is not immediate. One is watched over for an extended period of time and only when He is satisfied that one has continued to live according to His principles, is one rewarded. I have come to this conclusion after reviewing events as they have unfolded in my life. YEZAD KAPADIA
