Community activist Phiroze Amroliwalla (pictured) has filed an interim application before the Bombay High Court "seeking directions as to updation of the Bombay Parsi Punchayet (BPP) voters list prior to holding fresh elections and seeking that the schedule for holding elections be fixed after the proposed amendments to the scheme of election is approved by this Court.”
As per the consent terms agreed to by all five trustees, the election is scheduled for March 27, 2022 for all seven trusteeship seats of the BPP.
