[The following appeal was forwarded to Parsiana courtesy the Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America (newsletter@fezana.org) on behalf of Sharukh Marfatia.]
My daughter has been suffering from chronic kidney failure for many years with a recent worsening of the condition. She now requires a kidney transplant as shown by her latest kidney markers and advised by her nephrologist in Vancouver, Canada, where she currently lives. Her blood group is ‘O.’
She is 35 years of age and has twin sons aged three. She is trying to cope with her family and failing health as best as she can, which is very difficult for her. She sorely needs a kidney transplant.
I appeal to our global Zarathushti community to request persons they know or to themselves magnanimously donate a kidney for her. All necessary medical and, if needed, travel expenses will be paid for. My family and I will be most grateful for this altruistic gift of life for my daughter.
Potential donors may kindly email me at KMSDonorReplies@hotmail.com for any additional information or queries they may have. SHARUKH MARFATIA

In India, while organ transplants are encouraged, there are stringent regulations governing these. Potential donors in India may contact the relevant Zonal Transplant Coordination Centre in their city for information and guidance.
