The birth centenary of Sardar Dastur Hormazdiar Noshirwan Kaikobad Dastur was commemorated on the annual day function of the Sardar Dastur Hormazdiar High School, on December 7, 2024. Chief guest, Dastur’s daughter Mehernavaz Vakil, referred to the institutions under the Dastur banner as "five members of our family — the girls’ school which is 131 years old, the boys’ school which was started 112 years back, the primary and nursery school, now 71, the co-ed school which has completed 27 years and the newest entrant, the junior college, which is 10 years old.”

Vakil also spoke of her father’s "respect for life” in all forms, exhorting those present to nurture it, as it always gives back. She thanked members of the board of the School and said it was time to hand over the baton to the younger generation. The board comprises Farhad Forbes, his son Darius, Vakil, her son Jehangir, Behram Pudumjee, Viera Pudumjee, Kavas Patel, Jehangir Ardeshir and Cowas Jehangir.
Honoring the founder, School principal Farrah Gustaspi spoke about Dastur’s vision, dedication to imparting quality education with stress on the importance of integrity, service and compassion. His lasting legacy was highlighted by screening a short documentary film about his life, achievements, and the foundation of the School.
