We all know that Zoroastrianism is the oldest monotheistic religion in the world. A Zoroastrian professes belief in life after death and in rebirth. The better the way we live our life here, the better we will be in our life after rebirth. Honesty, truthfulness and love count most in our lives. We all need to know more about our religion. In our community some persons know everything about our religion and every person knows something about it, but every person does not know everything about it. Since all of us do not have unqualified knowledge, we do need people to speak to us to enlighten us on this subject.
Wherever meetings are convened various issues are addressed. If the agenda includes speeches or articles written for circulation amongst our members on matters which can make our peers understand more about our faith, much good could be done for our community. We should encourage such issues to be taken up whenever the opportunity presents itself. Voicing not just views, but also explanations to avoid misunderstanding of the basic tenets of our faith, will decrease disagreement and strife so rampant in discussions nowadays. It will increase clarity and transparency of thought, and better understanding will lead to greater solidarity and brotherhood amongst us.
