As part of the Make a Difference campaign, members of Xtremely Young Zoroastrians (XYZ), who are divided locality wise into imaginatively named groups, celebrated Christmas with the less fortunate, writes Hoshaang Gotla in an email to Parsiana. Members of two groups, Cyrus’ Superstars and Tehmurasp’s Titans, entertained senior citizens at the F. S. Parukh Dharamshalla with carol singing, housie and snacks. Daraius’ Daredevils set up games stalls during the Cusrow Baug Xmas Fair where they raised Rs 6,000 which was donated to St Jude’s Child Care Trust and Aseema Charitable Trust. Rustom’s Rockstars gave gifts to street children in Bandra and also celebrated the festive mood with the Bombay Police, notes Gotla.

Jamshed’s Giants spent Christmas morning playing games and singing carols with the children of the Ahura Support group at Masina Hospital. Noshirwan’s Knights and Ketayun’s Conquerors donated numerous items for the underprivileged at the XYZ Annual Day on December 18, 2016. Children from Homai’s Heroes visited Tata Memorial Hospital and distributed gifts along with blankets and toys to the families of patients who live on the footpaths. On December 28, 2016, members of Behram’s Battalion organized a Christmas party at Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Home, Dadar and donated XYZ stationery pouches to residents and street children near Khalsa College, notes the email.
