Poona engineering company Forbes Marshall has been ranked the "5th Best Workplace in India” for the year 2013-14 in the survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute in association with The Economic Times. "This is the fifth time that the company has ranked (in the top 25) in this survey since it started participating. This year 535 of India’s leading organizations participated in the survey and to be No. 5 is a great achievement,” the company announced in June. "Forbes Marshall is also the Best in Manufacturing Industry in India in the survey this year and is the only Poona company to have consistently ranked high in the survey year on year. This is a noteworthy achievement for an engineering company in a listing dominated by the IT and ITES (IT services) sectors.” Google India once again took top spot, followed by Intel, American Express and NIIT. Forbes Marshall is a leader in steam engineering and control instrumentation solutions. The company "has scored well on several pillars like credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.
