How sadly true is the statement "This is where leadership comes to play. You need people who are unafraid to do what is unpopular but necessary ("The pains of gain,” Editorial Viewpoint, Parsiana, November 7, 2018).”
For this reason, the true leaders in our Parsi community — industrialists, philanthropists, doctors, writers, artists and sports people — avoid the Bombay Parsi Punchayet and its ilk because these bodies ring the death-knell for our ”enlightened” community!
Hopefully, young Parsis here and all over will reverse the damage done by these despots. NAWSHIR KHURODY
