The hills are alive…

"Merriment” in a "carnival atmosphere” pervaded the annual day function of the Lonavala Khandala Parsi Zarthosti Anjuman (LKPZA) at the Seth Cowasjee Dinshaw Adenwalla Daremeher compound on February 17, 2024, stated a note from Anjuman trustee Capt Percy Master. Over 250 guests attended. "All the guests had a fun time, grooving and dancing to the music of Brynhild’s Band who played old and current Hindi and English songs. It was great to see seniors and youngsters dancing on stage and enjoying themselves.” The dancing went on well beyond 11 p.m.

Those thanked for their "continuous efforts in hosting the annual event” were Anjuman trustees Sam Choksey, Adi Mehta, Adi and Bapsy Banajee, Arin Master and Rashida Shroff; donors; LKPZA president, Saroosh Dinshaw for the use of the fire temple compound "and his continuous guidance;” Adenwalla Daremeher panthaky Ervad Zarir Tata, his wife Roshan and son Cyrus. (Ervad Zarir expired on March 10). 
The 123-year-old Anjuman "regularly donates” towards the fees for the education of deserving students, besides donating funds to the National Association for the Blind and nongovernmental organization Samwad Trust which runs a school for differently abled children. Both these organizations, the Iran League and the International Women’s Association received donations at the event.
Snacks and dinner were organized by Pervez and Benaifer Sidhwa of Bee’s Kitchen. "All in all a wonderful evening with pleasant weather… All guests went home happy and contented, asking us to continue this annual event,” signed off Percy Master.
