Head priest Ervad Mehernosh Bharucha gave a talk on the festival and led the gathering in a short prayer. The tiny tots of the Colony sang "I am proud to be a Zoroastrian” followed by singing of monajats by the Colony ladies.

He also thanked the president of the Agiary trust Mehernosh Chenoy and other trustees for hosting the refreshments, Russi Doctor, honorary secretary and treasurer for making all arrangements and Vispy Saher, Agiary helper for his background work.
