Registration for the Seventh World Zoroastrian Youth Congress to be held in Los Angeles, California from July 1 to 6, 2019 is now open and an early bird offer for the first 100 registrants will be USD 399.99 (Rs 28,541), notes a press release. The fee is expected to rise to USD 599 (Rs 42,812) later. Those in the 18 to 35 age group qualify as youth. "As the first youth congress took place in California over 25 years ago, this Congress is a milestone event where we can recognize the progress and shortcomings that our community has faced… It is time that we re-energize our youth and engage them to build a better Zoroastrian community in an increasingly globalized world,” mentions the introduction. "A Global Zarathusti” being the theme of the Congress, the meet promises ABCs in the Academic, Business, Community segments. Under Academics will be covered updates in the form of religious and historical literature on Zoroastrianism in the last 25 years. Business will explore the professional and business opportunities available to global Zoroastrians to progress.
