Reverence for nature is enjoined in the
Zoroastrian religion, reminded the panelists at
the 12th World Zoroastrian Congress

The audience seated in the Ball Room on the first day of the 12th World Zoroastrian Congress in New York on July 1, 2022 was asked to stomp their feet and clap their hands while two volunteers on stage attempted to accurately relay a message. They were entrusted this task by Anahita (Ana) Verahrami who effectively demonstrated how human disturbances can affect different species. Involved in the study of bioacoustics, the study of sounds that are produced by and affect living organisms, she was the youngest panelist in the session on "Custodians of Zamyad – the spirit of the earth.”......
