I wish to establish contact with the Nazer family who are relatives of mine and wonder if your readers could help. So far I have been unsuccessful in locating the Nazers. Over 60 years ago I had visited them along with my mother when, if memory serves me, they lived in an apartment along the Eros cinema opposite the Oval Maidan in Bombay.
My maternal grandmother Goolbai was born a Nazer and married my grandfather, Dorabji Patel. Goolbai’s sister was married to Kavasji Dadachanji. Both lived in Karachi.
I have been to Bombay several times but did not have the strength to go from building to building along this road to locate them. For all one knows they may no longer be living there. I am 81 years old and I have only one son who is unmarried. Before the Kotwal line comes to an end I would like to know about the Nazers, my nearest blood relatives.
