Samantha Gocal of Caelum High School, Poona secured 98.2% in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) Grade 10 examination with a total score of 491/500. She was ranked first in her school, with individual firsts in history, civics, geography; environmental science; economics; commercial applications and English language and literature. "Persistence and self-discipline are the traits that have helped me through my journey,” she believes, according to her parents Suzaan and Farhad.

Bombay Scottish School student Rehan Press scored 97.5% in the ICSE board examination. Maxing both history and environmental sciences with 100%, he scored 98% in commerce and geography and 97% in economics. Equally passionate about music as academia, he has been mesmerizing audiences with his soulful voice and effortless performances ever since he was eight years old, proud parents Tenaaz and Jehangir informed Parsiana. Rehan is the lead vocalist of his band "The Ones” which has won several all-India, inter-school music competitions. Rehan says he wants to pursue commerce and business management in college alongside a career in music.
Meanwhile, from Munnar in Kerala, Yezdi Mistry writes that his son Kayanush, student at High Range School there, has achieved 92.8% in the class 12 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination. Out of five papers, he scored 95% marks in four subjects. "His remarkable achievements have earned him the prestigious Best All-Rounder award at his school.” Parents Farzin and Yezdi stated that Kayanush plans to pursue higher education in the field of commerce.
