We are currently researching information, with the intent of writing the life story of Zenobia Mistri, a renowned teacher of French language and culture in 20th century Bombay. She was born in Karachi, daughter of Goolbai and Jamshed Bamboat, one of five siblings. The others were named Khorshed, Maccoo, Sabar and Gai. The family moved to Bombay where Zenobia met and married Pirosha Mistri who worked at the House of Tata for 61 years in his capacity as personal secretary to Sir Ratan Tata and secretary of the Ratan Tata Trust. Zenobia passed away in Bombay in 1998.
