"I do believe that the trustees have, during my tenure as president, achieved some milestones,” wrote Delhi Parsi Anjuman (DPA) president Yezad Kapadia to the city’s community members on January 16, 2018. Kapadia, whose term of office expired at the DPA annual general meeting (AGM) held in September 2017, continued as president for a few months at the behest of some members and fellow trustees. He is succeeded by vice president Ava Khullar who will preside as acting president until their next AGM later this year. "I urge you to give Ava your full support so that the Anjuman can move forward in a more meaningful way,” he added.

Kapadia’s "has been a very productive, progressive tenure — sweeping changes to modernize the Dharamshala... (he) support(ed) me to raise donations for the DPA corpus, and cut down losses in the financial structure,” notes Feroza Jassawala who assists the Anjuman in raising funds and organizing events. Trustee Adil Nargolwala, speaking to Parsiana on January 24, adds that "Kapadia’s levelheadedness steered the Anjuman towards achieving its goals.”
Khullar is the first intermarried woman to head a major anjuman in India. Lauding her role as demographer of the Delhi Parsis, Nargolwala states that her 30 + years with the DPA will stand the Anjuman in good stead, if she stands for office and is elected as president.
