Dr Farokh Master (pictured) has been named a pioneer in homeopathy in a German book Die Pioniere Der Homoopathie Im 21. jahrhundert (The pioneers of homeopathy in the 21st century) by journalists Heidi Brand and Anne Devillard. The tome contains detailed interviews with a dozen worldwide practitioners of homeopathy, including three other Indian names — Alok Pareek, Rajan Sankaran and Mahesh Gandhi.
"Every time I hear my patients feeling better, it’s like a mini award for me,” Master, who has been practicing homeopathy for 36 years, told Parsiana on December 26, 2018. "Coming from a family that could barely provide one meal a day, to then getting these kinds of accolades is indeed gratifying. Thanks to the blessings of the almighty and my determination to succeed and help people in any and every way I can, it has been an honor to serve society,” he commented.
"Luckily, there are those dedicated advocates of classical homeopathy who devote their lives to this fascinating healing art and never stop researching and evolving. They carry on the torch that they took from (Samuel) Hahnemann (discoverer of homeopathic principles), and they never tire of spreading the message of homeopathic holistic healing all over the world,” reads an introduction to the book hosted on Devillard’s website.
The website of Narayana Verlag, the publishing house of the tome, lists 60 of Master’s publications, e-books and DVDs on diverse topics related to homeopathy. "They also organize an annual conference where only the most reputed doctors are given a platform to speak, so it has been an honor that they had invited me to speak there several times,” said Master.
In 2008, Master was honored with the title Master of Homoeopathy in London by chief patron of the Registration Consul of Homeopathy, United Kingdom, Aaron Kenneth Ward Atherton Lord of Witley and Hurcott and Lord King of West Bromwich (see "Master of homeopathy,” Events and Personalities, Parsiana, November 21, 2008).
The doctor’s achievement was brought to Parsiana’s notice by eminent jurist Fali Nariman who called Master "one of the best homeopathic physicians in the world – since he is mine as well.”
