The elevation of Dr Jamasp JamaspAsa to the dasturi once occupied by his learned father, Dastur (Dr) Kaikhusroo, introduces a new and intriguing factor in the traditional priesthood. Unlike the earlier appointees and the recent one for Navsari, Jamasp has spent many years abroad, studying and practicing medicine in England.
