ZCB’s new Poona premises


Saroosh Dinshaw, a member of the founder’s family and former director of The Zoroastrian Co-operative Bank Limited (ZCBL), inaugurated the new premises of its Poona branch on September 10, 2025 at the Cowasji Dinshaw Library. Addressing customers, shareholders and well-wishers, Dinshaw traced the history of both the Library and the Bank.

Prominent customers who had been invited to the Taj Blue Diamond the previous day were thanked by chairmanYazdi Tantra for their continued trust and support to ZCBL. To enhance customer experience the Bank is leveraging its financial strength to offer the best banking services and a solution-oriented approach. It is using state-of-the-art technology and has also introduced significant initiatives to support green energy, education and corporate social responsibility, Tantra said.
Daljit Singh Dogra, managing director and chief executive officer of ZCBL spoke of loans at competitive rates for education, cars and homes. Over 80% of transactions are through digital channels, he said. Many additional customer friendly initiatives have been planned for 2027 when the Bank will complete 100 years, Dogra promised.                    S. V.
